Hiring salary is dependent upon experience. The hiring range is $68,623 - $76,248/annually. We are seeking a Special Events Specialist to join our team! In this dynamic role, you will take the lead in establishing, managing, and promoting City-wide events and public recreation outreach initiatives. Ideal candidates will have proven experience organizing special events for municipalities and a deep understanding of logistics, community engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Recreation, event planning or related field and five years experience in event planning and oversight. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered. Current CPR and First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain within three months of hire.

Requires a valid drivers license and ability to operate various automobiles, including 15-passenger vans. CDL is not required for this position.
