Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue01:00 PM - 11:30 PM Sat01:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor areas, exterior entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security‑related concerns. Monitor access points, observe customer and employee traffic, and help to deter unauthorized activity, theft‑related concerns, and/or policy violations through visible presence and professional interaction. Support store operations by assisting with crowd management, de‑escalation, and/or direction during busy periods, special events, openings, closings, and emergency situations. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 6 months of security‑related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
