This is an opportunity for a seasoned fireproofing professional to take ownership in the field, work on major commercial and industrial projects throughout New England, and help develop the next generation of applicators. - Leading fireproofing application work on-site
- Operating fireproofing equipment, paint pumps, and mixers, including Graco, Titan, Hy-Flex, Putzmeister, Cool, and similar equipment
- Spraying beams, decks, and structural columns to the required thickness while maximizing efficiency and minimizing overspray and material waste
- Setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining pumps, mixers, hoses, and other trade-related equipment
- Recording daily cup weights to ensure maximum yield and proper material adhesion
- Reading blueprints and monitoring application quality and thickness
- Working safely from lifts, ladders, and scaffolding
- Following OSHA requirements and all company safety procedures
- Keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Mentoring crew members and setting the standard for quality, productivity, and safety
- At least 7 years of fireproofing experience
- Strong experience with spray-applied fireproofing materials (SFRM)
- The ability to read blueprints and consistently achieve required thickness
- Experience operating and troubleshooting fireproofing equipment
- A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and an OSHA card
- A positive attitude and genuine pride in your craft
