Process Operator II
SGS Consulting
Job Responsibilities:
- Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
- Check on equipment throughout shift to ensure equipment is working properly.
- Reads and clearly follows processes that are required.
- Contributes to division results and performance.
- Take care of internal and external customer needs and expectations.
- Operate equipment specific to area such as:
- CARBON: Bag products, samples and test; Manage spent carbon feed to reactivation furnace; Switch tank feed from tank to tank of spent carbon; calibrate PH probes, operate a filter press, run facility wastewater treatment plant.
- REGEN: Sort bottles by size and resin; load and unload deliveries to and from regional branch; Operates forklift to move bottles and materials through plant and load/unload trucks; evacuates bottles.
Skills:
- Manufacturing/plant experience.
- Forklift driving.
- Knowledge of computers
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must complete site specific safety training.
- 3-5 years experience
