Process Operator II

Job Title
Pay Range: $22.00hr - $26.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must complete site specific safety training.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow and read instructions.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to complete 40 hour hazardous waste operations training for Carbon area.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
- Check on equipment throughout shift to ensure equipment is working properly.
- Read and clearly follow required processes.
- Contribute to division results and performance.
- Address internal and external customer needs and expectations.
- Operate equipment specific to area such as bagging products, sampling, and testing.
- Manage spent carbon feed to reactivation furnace.
- Switch tank feed from tank to tank of spent carbon.
- Calibrate PH probes, operate a filter press, and run facility waste water treatment plant.
- Sort bottles by size and resin.
- Load and unload deliveries to and from regional branch.
- Operate forklift to move bottles and materials through plant and load/unload trucks.
- Evacuate bottles.
Nice To Have:
- Manufacturing or plant experience.
- Forklift driving experience.

Physical Requirements (Due To Nature Of Job, The Candidate Must Have):
- Ability to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis.
- Ability to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis.
- Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds.
- Ability to climb and descend stairs.
- Ability to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis.
- Ability to work in heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees.
- Ability to work in areas where noise level requires hearing protection.
- Ability to work on concrete surfaces.
- Ability to operate a computer.
