Team Lead, Value Stream Cryo Operations

Team Lead overseeing cryopreservation and cell therapy manufacturing operations at a CAR-T facility. Provides tactical leadership to specialists managing patient material handling, liquid nitrogen systems, and regulatory compliance across multiple shifts in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Responsibilities

Direct execution of cell therapy production activities in compliance with cGMPs and standard operating procedures
Oversee cryopreservation and handling of patient materials including storage, distribution, and chain of custody
Manage production documentation, batch record reviews, and exception-based reviews for accuracy and compliance
Drive safety culture, conduct Gemba walks, and maintain hands-on expertise in LN2 storage and inventory control
Ensure team training compliance, support performance management, and develop high-performing team members

Requirements

Associate's degree in supply chain, engineering, life sciences, or related field
Minimum 3 years regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
At least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
Knowledge of cGMPs, ALCOA+ principles, and manufacturing documentation
Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Experience with deviations, CAPAs, change control, and batch record systems preferred
Background in cell therapy, cryopreservation, or cold chain operations preferred

Compensation: $69,670 - $84,429
