Senior Scientist Position – Single-Cell Genomics, Spatial Biology & Cancer ResearchUniversity of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center We are seeking an outstanding Senior Scientist to join our research program at the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center . This position offers a unique opportunity to lead innovative research at the intersection of single-cell genomics, spatial transcriptomics, RNA biology, and cancer biology . About the Position We are looking for a highly motivated scientist with expertise in: Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) Cancer biology and tumor microenvironment research Experimental and/or computational genomics The successful candidate will play a key role in driving high-impact research projects, developing new scientific directions, and mentoring trainees in a collaborative and intellectually stimulating environment. Qualifications PhD or MD/PhD in Biological Sciences or equivalent degree in a relevant field Strong postdoctoral training with a proven track record of cancer research excellence First-author publications in high-quality journals Demonstrated expertise in cancer genomics or related disciplines Ability to work independently while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams Why Join Our Lab?
