Description

• Conduct evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and create tailored treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy interventions that focus on enhancing mobility, improving strength, boosting balance, and restoring function
• Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to maximize patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families in understanding therapeutic goals, discharge processes, and at-home exercise routines
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatments administered, and patient progress in line with facility and legal standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and meetings to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or similar qualification from a recognized institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred CPR certification
• Specialty certifications (such as in geriatrics or neurology) are advantageous but not mandatory
