RN - ER Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Active state RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, CPI Must-Have: Strong ED experience, previous charge experience preferred Description:ER RN - Days - 36 hours.Two years of experience required.First-time travelers accepted with strong emergency department experience.Three 12-hour shifts from 08:00 to 20:30.The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4, up to 5 with lower acuity.The average daily census is approximately 200 patients.The patient age range includes neonates to geriatrics.This is a high-volume, fast-paced, non-trauma emergency room with multiple complex diagnoses.There is a 10-bed observation unit within the emergency department.The staffing ratio in the observation unit is 1:5, up to 6 with lower acuity.Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.Holidays are required as scheduled.Floating within the specialty is required as needed.No pre-scheduled on-call shifts are required.Experience with charting systems preferred, specifically EPIC.The emergency department is staffed by interdisciplinary support teams including respiratory services and pharmacy.Candidates must possess skills in various emergency care procedures and patient management.Travelers are first to float as needed within the scope of practice.Compliance with onboarding and credentialing requirements is mandatory. #J-18808-Ljbffr
