Location: Cinco Ranch, TX

Pay Rate: Starting at $18.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Department: Primary Care

Dean's Professional Services is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and experienced Sr. Medical Assistant to support a leading healthcare organization in Cinco Ranch, TX . This is an excellent opportunity for a certified Medical Assistant with strong clinical skills who is comfortable working in a fast-paced Primary Care setting and providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Support physicians and clinical staff with daily patient care and administrative duties.

   

• Prepare patients for examinations, including rooming and obtaining vital signs.

   

• Administer injections and medications as directed by the provider.

   

• Assist with medication management and maintain accurate medication information.

   

• Order and process laboratory tests and other clinical orders as needed.

   

• Obtain and accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record.

   

• Enter and update patient information, orders, and clinical documentation.

   

• Assist with maintaining exam rooms, supplies, and equipment.

   

• Provide professional, compassionate, and patient-focused service.

   

• Follow established clinical, safety, and infection-control procedures.

   

• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations and facility policies.

   

• Assist with coordinating patient care and communicating information to providers and other members of the healthcare team.

   

• Perform other Medical Assistant duties as assigned.

   

Facility Requirement: This is a non-smoking facility , and candidates must be able to successfully complete a required drug and nicotine screening .

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

   

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required.

   

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required.

   

• American Heart Association (AHA) certification required.

   

• Previous experience in Primary Care or a specialty clinic preferred.

   

• Experience with injections, medication management, and laboratory orders required.

   

• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

   

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

   

• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused.

   

• Strong knowledge of electronic medical records and clinical documentation.

   

• Must be able to successfully complete required drug and nicotine screening .
