Seafields by Bishop Gadsden is seeking a creative and energetic Community Experience Coordinator to lead vibrant programming that enriches the lives of our residents. Located in a state-of-the-art facility, this role is perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships, curating meaningful experiences, and bringing joy to others through thoughtful events and activities.
As a key ambassador of Seafields by Bishop Gadsden—both within our community and across the Charleston area—you’ll design and deliver engaging programs that foster connection, wellness, and lifelong learning.
What You’ll Do- Plan and implement a dynamic calendar of cultural, educational, and recreational events
- Collaborate with residents to bring their ideas to life through clubs, committees, and feedback
- Build partnerships with local organizations to enhance lifestyle offerings
- Host guest speakers, coordinate outings, and manage on-site events
- Maintain digital calendars, promotional materials, and event communications
- Safely transport residents to off-site activities and community events
- Oversee volunteers and support interdepartmental collaboration for seamless execution
- Promote resident well-being and serve as a resource for in-house services
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years’ experience in senior services, hospitality, or lifestyle programming preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event-related technologies
- Valid SC driver’s license in good standing
