Corporate Safety Manager
Lisle IL area
Direct Hire
Salary Range: $100,000-115,000

Primary responsibilities include the development and administration of plant wide safety and occupational health programs. Coordinate with outside safety and health agencies and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal safety and health requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree - preferably in safety or equivalent
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is REQUIRED (candidates need to be able to read, write, speak and understand Spanish)
• 4-6 years safety management experience in manufacturing; ideally food/beverage or CPG manufacturing
• OSHA 10 trained, OSHA 30 training is a plus
• Corporate and/or multi-site experience
• Excellent organizational skills and communication skills
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local safety regulations.
• Implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and health of employees.
• Manage all safety policies and procedures.
• Coordinate monthly safety training programs.
• Manage and develop OSHA related courses.
