Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide effective individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and therapeutic support groups focused on topics such as coping strategies, stress management, and emotional regulation.

• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and case managers, ensuring coordinated and holistic care for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, offering immediate support and connecting them to appropriate resources.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality at all times.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through case consultations, training sessions, and staying informed about advancements in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on serving clients in hospice care, as well as those recently transitioned into outpatient services. You will interact with individuals and families navigating complex emotional challenges associated with end-of-life issues, mourning, and chronic illnesses, fostering a supportive atmosphere for both clients and caregivers.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license in the state of California.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of a variety of mental health disorders along with established evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively conduct mental health assessments and develop actionable treatment plans.

• Experience providing therapy to diverse populations, showcasing cultural competence and sensitivity.

Compensation and Benefits\n
