Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to effectively identify co-occurring disorders and formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that integrate therapeutic techniques specifically tailored for clients dealing with addiction, trauma, and related mental health issues.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on addiction recovery and mental health wellness, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Monitor client progress through consistent evaluation, adjustment of treatment plans as necessary, and providing feedback during individual sessions to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, and addiction specialists to ensure holistic and comprehensive client care.

• Educate clients and their families on important concepts of mental health, the nature of addiction, and the recovery process, empowering them with knowledge and coping strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records following all legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring the integrity and security of client information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with adults facing challenges related to substance use disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma. Your supporting role will be crucial in helping these clients develop essential coping skills, fostering resilience, and guiding them towards sustainable, long-term recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in the state of Washington.

Compensation and Benefits\n
