Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine the specific psychological and emotional needs of elderly residents.

• Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions to address emotional challenges, including but not limited to aging-related anxieties, grief, and significant life changes.

• Provide educational resources and support to families and caregivers, enhancing their ability to nurture the emotional well-being of elderly individuals.

• Implement grief and loss therapy, assisting clients and their families as they navigate end-of-life issues with sensitivity and respect.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans that positively impact patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is providing exemplary mental health services to senior citizens. Your counseling will directly assist those coping with grief, chronic illness, and the psychological stressors related to aging. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification in Washington State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
