This role is fully remote, providing the flexibility to work from any location while connecting with clients through telehealth platforms. Our work schedule aligns with a standard workweek from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for regular hours and work-life balance. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for geriatric clients, identifying unique mental health and emotional needs and documenting findings thoroughly.

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions to assist seniors in navigating emotional challenges associated with aging, such as grief, loss, and major life changes.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and social workers, to develop cohesive and personalized care plans aimed at enhancing overall client well-being.

• Provide education and resources to families and staff, empowering them with strategies to support the emotional health of elderly individuals.

• Implement specialized grief and loss counseling programs tailored for clients and families dealing with terminal illness and end-of-life issues.

• Design and execute cognitive stimulation programs and mental health interventions aimed at maintaining and improving mental acuity in older adults.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution, with a preference for candidates who have additional training in geriatric mental health.
