This role is primarily remote, providing you with the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while remaining connected to our vibrant community health clinic. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a well-balanced professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough crisis assessments and interventions for clients experiencing urgent mental health emergencies.

• Provide immediate counseling and support to individuals who require help, ensuring that they receive appropriate interventions.

• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency response personnel to ensure the safety and well-being of clients in crisis situations.

• Deliver follow-up care and referrals for clients to maintain ongoing support and encourage long-term recovery options.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population is diverse, including individuals experiencing a range of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and addiction-related challenges. Particularly, we emphasize providing high-quality counseling services to the elderly, who may be facing aging-related mental health issues. As an LMHC, your role will be integral in offering emotional support and therapeutic interventions to help clients from various backgrounds navigate their unique situations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

• A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in mental health support and counseling.
