Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly clients, identifying their unique care needs and developing personalized treatment plans.

• Provide one-on-one individual counseling sessions as well as facilitated group therapy for elderly individuals dealing with emotional challenges related to aging and life changes.

• Advocate for client well-being by collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including doctors, social workers, and families, to create and implement effective care strategies.

• Offer guidance and support to staff and families on techniques to improve the emotional health and overall quality of life of elderly clients.

• Deliver specialized grief and loss counseling to seniors and their families, assisting them in navigating complex end-of-life issues.

• Implement cognitive stimulation activities and evidence-based mental health interventions aimed at enhancing mental agility and emotional resilience in our geriatric population.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
