Work Environment\n

This position operates in a fully remote telehealth setting, allowing for flexible scheduling and work-life balance while catering to the needs of our senior clients. The typical work schedule spans Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours based on client appointment needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans, including crisis intervention strategies, medication treatment plans, and behavioral guidelines.

• Document client sessions promptly and accurately, complying with all regulatory standards and practice requirements.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to evaluate clients’ mental health conditions effectively and guide treatment decisions.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement positive behavior support plans that enhance client well-being.
\n
• Engage actively in the licensing and accreditation processes to ensure compliance and maintain high-quality service delivery.

• Act as a liaison between clients and relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners, facilitating access to critical resources.

• Maintain open, effective communication pathways to fulfill contract standards while promoting the organization’s mission.
\n
• Build and sustain relationships with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as community organizations to identify and secure potential partnerships and funding opportunities.

• Continuously pursue professional development through attending conferences, representing the organization at events, and actively participating in statewide meetings and task forces.
\n
• Promote and embody the agency’s mission, values, and principles in all interactions and initiatives.
\n
• Other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support organizational goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers on supporting seniors as they navigate the complexities of aging, including dealing with loss, adjusting to new life phases, and managing mental health challenges related to addiction or other issues. You will provide compassionate care and evidence-based interventions tailored to the unique needs of older adults, fostering resilience and emotional stability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

• At least 4 years of recent experience in geriatric counseling and mental health support.

• Specialization or additional training in geriatric mental health and aging-related challenges is preferred.
