Clinical Director Physical Therapist

Job Description The Clinical Director (CD) will oversee day-to-day operations of the Anchorage clinic, ensuring high quality patient care, efficient productivity, and a positive clinic culture. After a 90‑day training period, the successful candidate will assume the CD title and take full responsibility for the clinic’s patient services, staff, finances, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Supervise clinicians, ensuring accurate documentation, billing and adherence to state regulations. Develop and maintain a productive practice environment and effective staff schedule. Lead quality improvement initiatives, including chart audits, KPI tracking, and annual equipment inspections. Coordinate new provider recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training. Manage billing, compliance, and revenue cycle activities, reporting results to the COO and executive leadership. Communicate with referral sources, marketing, and internal leadership to grow the patient base. Qualifications Doctor of Physical Therapy (PT)‑level education. Minimum 40‑hour/week full‑time availability, full‑time W‑2 employment. Prior experience in a Clinical Director or Assistant Clinical Director role is preferred. Strong communication, leadership, strategic planning, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and guide a diverse team of PTs, PTAs, and support staff.
