Commercial Data Analyst

Location: Boston, MA.

Employment Type: Contract

About The Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Data Analyst to join our client's team in the commercial sector. In this role, you will contribute to implementing data analytics plans, executing data analytics strategies, and supporting data management to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Implement data analytics plans and provide support for general analytics, data discovery, and statistical modeling on existing data sets.
Execute data analytics plans and implement policies to identify data requirements, data collection, processing, cleaning, analysis, modeling, and visualization.
Analyze data patterns, anomalies, and trends to help answer business questions and improve decision-making.
Coordinate data analytics plans to provide data for complex data science and big data mining projects.

Requirements

Practical knowledge of data analytics typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
Ability to work independently with general supervision.
2 - 5 years of experience in data analytics or a related field.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualification.

Preferred Qualifications (If Any)

Experience with data management, data quality, and data governance.
Familiarity with big data technologies and tools.
