Accounts Payable ClerkAccounts Payable Clerk Location: Carson, CA Contract to hire Paying: $24-26/hour, based on experience Bachelor's degree requiredPosition Overview The Accounts Payable Clerk supports day-to-day accounting operations with a primary focus on invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense reconciliation. This role works closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial records while maintaining compliance with internal policies and deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, code, and process vendor invoices in a timely and accurate mannerPerform invoice matching and resolve discrepancies with internal teams and vendorsPrepare and assist with check runs, ACH payments, and payment trackingMaintain organized and up-to-date AP files and supporting documentationRespond to vendor inquiries and assist with account reconciliationsSupport month-end close activities, including AP accruals and reportingAssist with audits by providing requested documentation and schedulesCollaborate with accounting and program teams to ensure proper expense allocationQualifications1–3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experienceBasic understanding of accounting principles and internal controlsExperience with accounting software and ERP systems preferredProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office toolsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlinesClear communication skills and a team-oriented mindsetPay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour Search managed by: Allison Lau Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
