RN – Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit

Schedule: Ratios: 1:4–5 (days, nights, weekends) Every other weekend

Requirements: Minimum 2 years of RN experience RN licensure: Georgia or Compact license required at time of submission Required: BLS, ACLS (NIHSS preferred) Ability to manage cardiac/vasoactive drips (no titration): milrinone, dobutamine, amiodarone, diltiazem, lidocaine, bumetanide, heparin Experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, post/pre-cath and post-MI care, ABG interpretation, HFNC/BiPAP/CPAP management, central line/PICC and peripheral IV care, chest tube/tracheostomy care, wound care, blood product administration, PCA familiarity, use of rapid response/code teams Charting system: Epic (required)

Roles & Responsibilities: Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias Provide care for patients with diagnoses including CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, hypo-/hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, PE/DVT/vascular issues Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care Administer medications and manage care plans as ordered Ensure accurate documentation and communication of patient care

Compliance / Notes: Full compliance required to start on time; late compliance may delay start Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) COVID-19 vaccine not required Max 7 days of Request Time Off (RTO) per contract; all RTO must be finalized at submission; no RTO during orientation week RTO blackout: Spring Break Apr 4–12 Orientation: 12 hours listed; number of non-billable orientation hours varies by contract length
