Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Neuro MedSurg Acute for a travel assignment in Peoria, IL. This role involves working in an acute care setting, providing essential nursing care to patients with neurological conditions. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide nursing care to patients with stroke, spine surgery, seizure, brain tumor, head injury, and other neuroscience conditions
• Titrate Heparin based on PTT levels
• Collaborate with charge nurse and house supervisor for patient care coordination
• Participate in floating rotation as needed, with skill-appropriate assignments
• Utilize EPIC charting system for accurate patient record-keeping

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Active IL license or application initiated
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Previous travel experience is mandatory
• Prior experience working on a dedicated neuro unit is essential
