This role is central to shaping cloud‑native analytics architecture, ensuring end‑to‑end reliability, efficiency, and best‑practice cloud engineering. Detailed Job Description As the AWS Analytics System Architect, you will design distributed data processing architectures leveraging EMR, Spark, Glue, Redshift, and other AWS analytics services. You will collaborate with cross‑functional technical teams to define solution standards, guide engineering implementation, and ensure robust data modeling, performance tuning, and platform governance. With strong expertise in Spark (PySpark/Scala), SQL optimization, and star/snowflake modeling, you will craft architectures that support advanced analytics, large‑scale data transformations, and cost‑efficient cloud operations. This is a fully remote role supporting enterprise‑level initiatives with long‑term extension potential. ✅ Key Responsibilities Architect scalable, secure, and high‑performance data platforms on AWS Design data pipelines using EMR/Spark, Glue, Redshift, and S3 Develop star and snowflake data models to support analytics workloads Optimize Spark jobs, SQL queries, and overall system performance Implement best practices for IAM, CloudWatch monitoring, and cost optimization Work closely with engineering, analytics, and business teams to refine requirements Ensure clean, clear, and comprehensive documentation for solutions and architectures Lead architecture reviews, design discussions, and platform governance Required Qualifications & Skills 6+ years of experience as a Data Architect or Systems Architect Strong expertise with AWS analytics services: EMR, Glue, Redshift, S3, IAM, CloudWatch Advanced Spark skills (PySpark and/or Scala) Strong SQL proficiency and experience with large-scale distributed data processing Expertise in data modeling (Star and Snowflake schemas) Experience tuning distributed jobs, ETL processes, and analytics performance Strong architectural documentation and stakeholder collaboration skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field Must be H1B / USC / GC ✨ Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with AWS Lake Formation or Databricks Knowledge of event‑driven architectures (Kinesis, Kafka) Familiarity with automation using Terraform or CloudFormation Background in BI, analytics reporting, or metadata management Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD for data pipelines Recruitment Pro Tip Showcase real‑world examples of AWS‑based analytics architectures you’ve designed—especially ones involving EMR/Spark and Redshift—as these immediately demonstrate hands‑on expertise and help you stand out as a top‑tier architect. #J-18808-Ljbffr Tech Junction Ltd
