About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of Global Tax to take on a pivotal executive role in overseeing and advancing the tax function for its complex, multi-entity organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all aspects of global tax compliance, including the preparation and filing of various tax returns, and will serve as the in-house technical expert on U.S. partnership and corporate taxation. This role also involves providing strategic tax planning, particularly in the context of high-value initiatives such as M&A, restructurings, and financings, and requires close collaboration with senior leadership across the organization. Applicants for the Head of Global Tax position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with advanced credentials such as CPA, MST, or LLM strongly preferred. A minimum of 15 years' progressive tax experience, with a focus on multi-entity structures and complex transactions, is required. The role demands deep technical expertise in partnership and corporate tax, as well as a proven track record in tax due diligence, transaction support, and managing external advisors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong project management abilities, and a background in financial services, capital markets, or highly regulated industries. Experience in public companies, Up-C structures, and a strong understanding of state tax compliance are also preferred qualifications.
