Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Registered Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 06:30 PM - 07:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: NBRC Required BLS Must-Have: - Respiratory therapy experience - Knowledge of advanced respiratory care modalities Description: Provide evaluation of and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. Assess patients for the appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develop a plan of care based on diagnosis. Implement and monitor the patient care plan and equipment. Monitor, record, and communicate the patient's condition. Perform advanced respiratory care modalities. Evaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcomes. Educate the patient and family about their health condition and provide information about community support groups and other available programs. Respond to emergency resuscitation team codes.
