Our restaurants serve a wide variety of global cuisines, including Spanish, American, Mexican, Greek, Peruvian and beyond, each one telling the unique stories gathered by José and the José Andrés Group team through years of travel, research, experimentation and inspiration.JoseAndresGroup is an Equal Opportunity EmployerRequirementsSkills & ConditionsPrevious experience as a baker or in a bakery environment is preferred.Tasks include mixing and kneading dough, following recipes, ensuring quality control, and managing inventory for baking supplies.Knowledge of workstation set up and maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhere to food safety guidelines, and collaborate with the kitchen staff to meet the restaurant's menu needs.Thorough knowledge of menu items and service procedures.Ability to take direction and work in a team environment and to work calmly and effectively under pressure.Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized.This position will spend 100% of the time standing or walking.Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.May be required to lift food items weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally.Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with supervisors and other employees.Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.Ability to follow recipes and adjust as necessary.Attention to detail and creativity, especially for baked goods
