Resident Experience & Property Manager

Community Manager The Community Manager oversees the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. Responsibilities include personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration, and risk management, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety and fair housing guidelines, and liability concerns. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Personnel Management: oversee staffing, schedule assignments, train, coach, and evaluate staff; address performance issues and conduct terminations when necessary. Financial Management: achieve optimal net operating income, control costs, increase revenue, develop budgets and forecasts, reconcile deposits and vendor invoices, and ensure accurate ownership financial reports. Strategic Leasing Management: develop marketing plans, attract and retain residents, ensure effective lease signing and documentation, and handle resident complaints and requests. Administrative & Maintenance Management: keep reporting accurate, coordinate emergency response, manage customer service, oversee maintenance and repairs, and manage property resources and supplies. Education / Experience High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree or four years of housing industry experience, or one–two years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination. Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred. Basic computer skills and knowledge of on‑site software functions. Understanding of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. Physical Requirements Regular communication, repetitive hand motions, accuracy in work, availability for overtime, weekends, and night hours. Standing or sitting for extended periods, moving between work sites, ascending/descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, step stools, and working in confined or overhead spaces. Lifting or moving objects up to 25 lb, operating light machinery or equipment, and operating vehicles or golf carts. License / Equipment Must have reliable transportation for on‑call and emergency duties. Salary Range $47,000 to $52,000 per year. At Asset Living, compensation is determined by skill set, background, certifications, and experience.
