Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room role provides specialized acute care to patients experiencing urgent health issues. The RN demonstrates a thorough understanding of emergency clinical protocols and offers compassionate, evidence-based treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition promptly upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Perform clinical procedures including IV insertions, Foley catheter placements, and wound dressings accurately and safely.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions effectively.
• Monitor patient vital signs and recognize changes that require rapid intervention.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses thoroughly and in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CA Registered Nurse license uploaded within the last 2 weeks.
• Possess BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS certifications with valid expiration dates.
• Have at least 2 years of recent ER experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in emergency clinical procedures and patient advocacy.
• Showcase ability to work independently and as part of a team, accepting constructive feedback.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to safety and compliance standards.
