Your primary location will be Ettrick Elementary, ensuring stability and a cohesive work environment with the potential for itinerant assignments. The academic year runs from August 17, 2024, to May 30, 2025, with a commitment of up to 37.5 hours each week. You'll play a key role in supporting students in both direct therapy and assessment assistance as part of a dedicated educational team.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication or a related field (required)
• Valid SLPA license (or eligibility) for Virginia
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to maintaining accurate records and supporting IEP processes

Daily Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to elementary-aged students under SLP supervision
• Assist with speech/language assessments and documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with staff and families
• Support administrative tasks as needed within contracted hours
• Engage in ongoing professional development and district training
