Project Manager

Our client is seeking a Project Manager to support a six-month capital project assignment in Greensboro, NC. This role will be responsible for managing project cost and schedule performance, coordinating equipment vendors, administering purchase orders, and owning the project change management process. Key responsibilities include tracking project budgets, forecasts, commitments, and schedule performance; creating and managing purchase orders; coordinating vendor activities and equipment deliveries; maintaining project logs and status reports; and identifying and escalating project risks and issues. The Project Manager will also oversee change management activities, including documenting change requests, tracking approvals, and monitoring cost and schedule impacts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing multiple project priorities while communicating effectively with stakeholders, procurement teams, finance partners, and vendors. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 5+ years of project management experience supporting capital projects Experience managing project costs, budgets, schedules, forecasts, and risks Experience creating and managing purchase orders and coordinating with vendors Strong change management and stakeholder management skills Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with project tracking, reporting, and procurement systems NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial capital projects Knowledge of procurement, finance, and vendor management processes Experience tracking project commitments, forecasts, and cost variances Familiarity with equipment installation, supplier coordination, and project controls PMP or other project management certification preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
