Overview Our client is seeking a customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to provide hands‑on technical support for end users across multiple locations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical issues, working directly with users, and growing their IT career within a collaborative team. Key Responsibilities Provide desktop and end‑user technical support for hardware, software, and system issues Troubleshoot Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications Install, configure, and deploy desktop and laptop computers, peripherals, and related equipment Build and image computers while configuring user accounts and software applications Reset passwords and manage user accounts through Active Directory Document incidents, resolutions, and updates within the ticketing system Monitor and prioritize assigned support tickets to meet service level expectations Escalate complex issues to senior technical teams when appropriate Assist with mobile device support and inventory management Support hardware deployments, equipment replacements, and technology refresh projects Provide technical assistance to employees at all organizational levels while delivering exceptional customer service Preferred Experience 2+ years of Desktop Support or Help Desk experience preferred Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications Experience with Active Directory user administration and password managementBasic understanding of networking concepts and remote support tools Experience imaging, deploying, and configuring desktop hardware Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, or equivalent experience Ideal Candidate Profile Customer-service oriented with excellent communication skills Strong troubleshooting ability and willingness to learn new technologies Positive attitude with a collaborative, team‑first mindset Self‑motivated and dependable with strong organizational skills Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Eager to grow professionally and develop technical expertise Valid driver's license required with the ability to travel locally during the workday using a company vehicle when needed Strong cultural fit, coachable attitude, and desire to contribute to a supportive team environment Why choose Addison IT?
