Step into a meaningful role supporting PK-8th grade students as a skilled school psychologist in a leading educational setting close to Vero Beach, FL. This contract position, set for the academic year starting 9/29/26 through 6/1/27, calls for a dedicated professional who can provide specialized psychological services and assessments that foster student growth and well-being. This is primarily an on-site opportunity requiring presence across one or more local campuses, with a weekly commitment of 35 hours. With interviews taking place immediately, flexibility and swift responsiveness are keys to securing this rewarding spot.

Your background in school psychology will allow you to:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hold an active Florida Department of Health School Psychologist License.
• Demonstrate experience with school-aged populations, preferably PK-8th grade.
• Show comfort navigating time-sensitive district credentialing, including separate fingerprinting procedures and on-site HR badging.
• Collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to support diverse learners.
• Provide targeted individual and group interventions for students.
• Engage in consultation with educational staff and parents regarding student progress and behavioral strategies.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Maintain detailed records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
