Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership to the Social Services Department, aligning with the organization's mission and goals

• Collaborate with other departments, including Nursing, Rehabilitation, and Healthcare to ensure holistic care

• Recruit, train, and supervise a team of social workers and activities staff

• Develop and manage budgets, grants, and community partnerships

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

• Foster strong relationships with resident families, healthcare providers, and community organizations

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in social services, preferably in a long-term care setting

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

• Certification in Social Work or a related field (e.g., LICSW, LCSW, etc.) preferred
