Food Service Manager

We're seeking a dependable, mission-driven Mess Attendant Supervisor to help support and guide daily galley operations. Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and support to Mess Attendants throughout the shift. Set clear expectations, reinforce performance standards, and promote a positive team environment. Monitor team output to ensure quality, safety, and sanitation protocols are consistently followed. Identify safety concerns, ensure proper use of PPE, and report issues to the Project Manager. Operate and oversee commercial dishwashing equipment to ensure proper sanitation of dishware and utensils. Support front-of-house operations, including dining area resets, trash removal, and maintaining cleanliness across service zones. Ensure all work areas, storage spaces, and equipment are clean, organized, and ready for the next shift. Assist with inventory checks, supply distribution, and coordination with kitchen staff as needed. Maintain a safe working environment by following all sanitation, safety, and food-handling procedures. Minimum 2 years of experience in food service, custodial, or galley operations. Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a lead, supervisory, or team-support role. Experience working in a high-volume dining facility performing sanitation and front-of-house support duties. Experience operating commercial dishwashing equipment and managing sanitation tasks. Knowledge of commercial dishwashing equipment and sanitation procedures. Bonus If You Have These Skills: Experience working in military dining facilities, industrial kitchens, or high-volume food service operations. able to follow orders and relay updates to the Project Manager.
