Responsibilities Manage payroll set‑up, processing, and generation for all company entities across the country. Calculate the effect of changes in employee population or applicable laws and by‑laws. Ensure accurate withholding, deductions, and net‑pay calculations (federal, state, unemployment, direct deposit). Reconcile payroll accounts, prepare journal entries, and assist finance or HR during audits. Create analytical reports for corporate, sub‑regional, and cluster management. Communicate salary and deduction considerations to employees. Assist with year‑end processing, including W‑2 preparation and distribution. Ensure proper use of the country payroll system and support integration or consolidation of payroll data at the group level. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 6+ years of large‑scale payroll experience in a Payroll Specialist or Payroll Analyst role. Proven experience within a payroll function in a mid‑sized to large organization. Demonstrated expertise managing high‑volume payrolls (weekly and bi‑weekly) for 1,200+ employees. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and produce detailed, accurate reports. In‑depth knowledge of multi‑state payroll processing, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. Solid understanding of payroll accounting principles and cross‑functional finance processes. Experience ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. Salary Competitive regional salary with eligibility for an annual bonus.
