About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its mission-driven healthcare environment. This executive leadership role is pivotal in influencing organizational strategy and long-term sustainability, with a focus on supporting underserved communities. The CFO will have high visibility and direct interaction with the CEO, Board of Directors, and Finance Committee, and will be responsible for shaping financial strategy, growth planning, and operational decision-making. Key responsibilities include leading all financial aspects, overseeing a complex nonprofit healthcare finance environment, and ensuring compliance with various financial requirements. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business, with a Master’s degree preferred, and a CPA is strongly preferred. A minimum of 5-8 years of senior financial leadership experience in nonprofit healthcare or FQHC settings is required, along with a deep knowledge of nonprofit accounting, grant compliance, and federal reporting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing revenue cycle management and payer reimbursement, and experience in working with executive leadership and boards. The role demands a leader who can build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team, and who values collaboration, innovation, and a strong leadership voice.
