Business Analyst

Healthcare domain experience
• Working experience in Portals (Provider/Broker/Member)
• Physically located in PST/MST time zone


BSC experience is preferred (Not a Must Have)
• Work with Blue Shield business users to develop and deliver Business Requirements which include functional, non-functional and technical Requirements.
• participate in UAT on behalf of business representatives.
• facilitate and coordinate QA testing with the Blue Shield QA department on behalf of business representatives.
• participate in activities necessary to create a Project charter, Business Requirements Documents ("BRD"), Use Cases and Test Cases.
• facilitate the gathering and publishing the test results to designated Project personnel.
• assist Blue Shield in the creation of gap and impact analysis documents.
• assist Blue Shield in the creation of process flow diagrams
• Defines business requirements and provides analysis to increase operational efficiency. Analyzes actual results against plan and forecast and recommends interventions where appropriate.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement in operational performance and notifiy management of issues and problems requiring immediate attention.
• Works cross-functionally in analyzing, designing, and developing business solutions.
• Provides analytical support for multiple, complex cross-functional projects simultaneously, establishes work plans and time lines; coordinates with internal and external resources.
