Senior HR Specialist - Benefits & Leave Administration

Our client is seeking a Senior HR Specialist to support employee benefits administration and leave-of-absence programs. This role will serve as a key resource for employees regarding benefits, leave policies, compliance, and HR systems while ensuring accurate recordkeeping and exceptional employee support. Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation Assistance Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8AM-5PM Responsibilities: Support new hire onboarding and benefits enrollment activities. Assist with benefits audits, open enrollment, and annual benefits renewal processes. Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS systems and generate reports as needed. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and company benefits and leave regulations. Support HR administrative initiatives, including employee training records and related documentation. Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and coordinate with external vendors as needed. Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and wellness offerings. Manage the full leave administration process, including FMLA, state leave programs, ADA accommodations, short- and long-term disability, and workers' compensation coordination. Qualifications (Must-Haves) High School Diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of experience in Human Resources. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience utilizing HRIS platforms and maintaining data accuracy. Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience administering employee benefits and leave programs. Strong working knowledge of: FMLA, ADA, COBRA, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability, Workers' Compensation, and State Leave Programs Preferred Skills: Experience with UKG or similar HRIS platforms. Experience supporting annual open enrollment and benefits audits. Familiarity with vendor management and employee benefits communications.
