Transaction Specialist

This role delivers on our “Count on More” brand promise by assisting customers with simple and complex transactions, resolving service inquiries, introducing the convenience of digital self‑service tools, and managing customer flow while complying with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Completing financial transactions and service requests accurately and efficiently, while complying with all policies, procedures, and regulations. Earning customers' personal recommendation by consistently delivering an unparalleled customer experience in the lobby, drive‑thru and over the phone. Playing an active role in branch daily operations to ensure safety and soundness for both the customer and the bank. Maintaining an expert knowledge of our self‑service and digital platforms to help customers learn how to complete their banking needs at their convenience. Helping your branch achieve growth targets by identifying opportunities to connect customers with team members who can help them make money, save money and protect money. Qualifications HS Diploma or equivalent. Ability to work Saturdays (including time). Basic math and cash handling skills. Ability to learn products, services and processes quickly and accurately. Professional, thorough, and organized with strong computer skills to manage complex transactions and service tasks across multiple systems. Excellent communication skills – ability to make personal connections, engage customers, and always be courteous and professional in a team environment. Strong desire and ability to influence, educate and connect customers to technology. Ability to follow policies, procedures and regulations to identify risks and take appropriate action to prevent losses and keep the customer and bank safe. Bonus Points One year experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience or education. Leadership roles experience (team lead, shift lead, etc.) preferred. Bilingual. Compensation The posted salary range reflects the broadest standard range for this role, including all locations. The anticipated compensation for this specific opening is $18‑19 per hour. Compensation ranges by state: in California, Washington DC, New Jersey and New York: $31,040 – $45,180; in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin: $28,340 – $41,360; elsewhere: $25,640 – $37,540. The actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level and other factors.
