Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care in the Labor and Delivery unit, while ensuring the safety and well-being of both mothers and newborns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health, managing complications such as pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and other high-risk conditions.
• Implement active management strategies for laboring patients, including induction and augmentation of labor.
• Assist in maternal emergencies and support the delivery process of singles, multiples, and VBAC/TOLAC patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in Epic charting system.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Experience in acute care high-risk Labor and Delivery settings.
• Ability to float between units as needed.
• Willingness to work some weekend shifts.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule Details:

• Shift: Night shifts, 4x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00).
• Weekend shifts are required as needed.
• No block schedules are in place.
• A total of 48 hours is approved for this position.
