Security Access Manager- Operations

Position Summary OTG Badging Manager oversees the application and verification documentation required for airport badges, ensuring compliance with Port Authority regulations. This role interfaces with the Port Authority, employees, airport management, and HR, maintaining accurate badge status and facilitating timely processing. Responsibilities Schedule monthly in-house audits. Schedule all security classes for newly hired crew members, managers, and executives. Provide oral and written instructions to new crew members regarding SIDA and fingerprinting process, including personal identification requirements. Communicate steps required on the Port Authority fingerprinting application to new crew members. Travel to the Port Authority Administration Building for issuing officer related duties. Record and maintain accurate badge data for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly audits. Ensure all OTG‑issued security badges are returned to the Port Authority when a crew member resigns or is terminated. Respond to all Port Authority notifications regarding breach of rules or violations for OTG crew members. Act as liaison between OTG management and airport authority stakeholders regarding security policies and procedures. Track and communicate the progression of newly hired crew members and managers through the badging process and report status to management weekly. Notify managers and team leads of "badge ready" status and prepare "badge ready" letters. Notify HR of issues and expiration dates of new badges to ensure tracking data in HRB. Qualifications and Requirements Airport experience a plus. Process‑oriented. System execution. Strong written and oral communication skills. Extremely detail‑oriented. 3+ years of administrative experience. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Sound decision‑making skills. Ability to plan and prioritize. Excellent follow‑up and tracking skills. Excellent MS Excel skills. Impeccable internal and external customer service skills. Willingness to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, holidays, and inclement weather conditions. Pay Rate 60k - 70k. Benefits: PTO, Healthcare, competitive 401k match.
