Security Professional - Patrol - Tech San Francisco, CA – Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, offers a part‑time patrol role at a dynamic tech and media location. As a Security Professional – Patrol – Tech you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech, Media, Telecom and more. In this unarmed patrol position, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security‑related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.95 / Hour Job Schedule: Day – Sat 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM; Sun 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM What You’ll Do Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites. Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education. Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams. Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service. Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise. Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Document and report any security‑related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols. Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address questions or concerns related to security‑related matters. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to support a secure and welcoming environment. What We’re Looking For Availability across various days and shifts. Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments. A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company. Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security‑related experience required. Access control or badge experience preferred. Alarm panel experience preferred. Customer service experience preferred. Guard card or license preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
