Full-Time Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist to join our team at Animal Family Veterinary Care Center in Davenport, IA. This role combines support in clinical tasks with front-desk responsibilities, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about animal care and customer service. Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with animal care procedures and treatments.
• Greet and check-in clients, answer phones, and manage appointment scheduling efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment and reception areas.
• Process payments, maintain client records, and handle administrative duties as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding pet care instructions and clinic policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care environment preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office and appointment scheduling software.
• Genuine interest in animal welfare and client service.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Benefits

• Competitive hourly wage of $15.00 - $17.00, paid bi-weekly.
• 4 day work week - Allowing more time for yourself!
  • Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-6pm and Saturdays 8am-2pm
