Travel Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist - $3,000 per week

Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Oakland, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 18 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP PEDS) Located in Oakland. This role involves providing specialized speech and language therapy services within a pediatric care setting, focusing on assessments, treatment plans, and therapy sessions for pediatric patients. The position supports childrens developmental and rehabilitative needs, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Job Details Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week. Required Qualifications: BLS certification, CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology), current licensure, minimum 2 years of experience including at least 1 year in a hospital setting, pediatric outpatient, or pediatric rehabilitation facility. Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric hospital, PICU, or children's hospital experience. Additional experience with pediatric rehabilitation, outpatient services, and acute care is preferred. Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations, develop and implement therapy plans, utilize augmentative communication devices, perform bedside swallow evaluations, and work with pediatric populations including adolescents and children in various care settings. Certifications: BLS and CCC-SLP are required. Additional Information: Knowledge of assessment tools such as CELF, PLS-4, Rossetti Infant-Toddler Language Scale, and Western Aphasia Battery. Experience with charting using Epic; familiarity with pediatric developmental delays, oral motor planning, and modified barium swallow studies is advantageous. Travel and Orientation: Travel is permitted, but generally, resources are not assigned to the same unit. Orientation begins promptly at 4:00 PM PST on the Monday before the start date. The start date is 09/21/2026, with an end date of 01/25/2027.
