Small CPA firm seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide office and clerical support. This position requires strong typing and Microsoft Word skills, accuracy with financial/statistical information, and the ability to manage a variety of administrative duties in a professional office environment.
Duties to include:
- Heavy typing and formatting of financial and statistical data using Microsoft Word
- Preparation, editing, proofreading, and organization of reports, correspondence, and client documents
- General administrative and office support duties
- Answering phones and greeting clients professionally
- Filing, scanning, copying, and maintaining office records
- Assisting with tax season workflow and document management
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
- Data entry and maintaining accurate information in office systems
- Handling confidential financial and client information with discretion
- Supporting partner with daily office operations
Requirements:
- Strong typing skills with high accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and general office software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous like experience within a CPA or law firm preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
