An Assistant Manager works productively, supervises and trains restaurant colleagues to ensure they perform their job responsibilities so the restaurant achieves customer satisfaction and profitability during their shift, in a professional manner. They also are responsible for some of the Manager duties when the Manager is off schedule. An Assistant Manager will receive direction and training from the Restaurant Management Team, participate in our training program, and will be aided by training materials and classes. This will prepare them to maintain our high standards in all aspects of our business. This position requires a hands‑on style of management and physical work such as lifting, squatting, and standing for long periods of time. Qualification Summary for an Assistant Manager Position: Have previous experience in restaurant or retail with customer contact a plus. Must be organized and detailed. Be at least 18 years of age. Possess basic math skills. Possess excellent verbal communication and interpersonal relations skills. Be dependable, hardworking and have the ability to work under pressure and in stressful situations. Possess a valid driver's license from the state of residence. Requirements: Great communication skills to communicate effectively with guests and co‑workers. Must have a positive attitude and ethics that support our values and culture. Must be a strong team player. Ability to train and coach others. Ability to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours per day. The ability to lift up to 55 pounds. The ability to push and pull up to 55 pounds. The ability to squat or crouch to lift items from floor level. Ability for twisting of the back up to 90 degrees left and right. Ability for bending of the back up to a minimum of 90 degrees to lift objects from the floor. Assistant Managers earn up to $17 per hour based on relative experience and availability.
