Job Title: Shipping Clerk

Position Summary: A Shipping Clerk is a position in a warehouse that picks, stages, and ships customer orders.

• GMP Compliance: Follow GMP Requirement while performing all job duties
• Order Picking & Staging: Pick and stage customer orders
• Special Instructions: Follow all special directions for an order when specified
• Product Handling: Pick product bottles specified on Sales Order in timely and efficient manner
• Verification: Verify the product number, size and quantity
• Inventory Method: Pick products according to First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method
• Quality Assurance: Confirm that COA was created for each finished good
• Small Parcel Shipping: Process small parcel shipments via UPS using UPS WorldShip
• Freight Preparation: Wrap the pallets for LTL and FTL freight and mark the weights on the Sales Order
• Data Entry: Create Packing Slip in Sage
• Logistics Coordination: Schedule pickup via Email with Logistic Company
• Documentation: Print out BOL
• Loading: Load the trucks
• Facility Care: Keep shipping area and loading dock clean and organized
• Support: Assisting in other areas as needed and performing other duties as assigned

Reporting Relationships

• This position functions under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Manager

Critical Operating Relationships

• Work closely with CSR
• Interacting with truck driver

Qualifications

• Equipment Proficiency: Sit down and Stand-up Forklift operator - certified
• Licensing: NJ Driver's License
• Education: High School Diploma/ or GED equivalent
• Experience: Warehouse experience and Shipping/ Receiving experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be fluent in the English language
• Read and write in the English language
• Basic computer skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift 50lbs
