Forklift OperatorFull time Americas - North America - United States - Mountain Top - ACD Mountaintop PAThe Forklift Operator moves material, supplies and finished goods to designated areas utilizing a sit-down forklift and loads product onto trailers according to all Amcor ISO and other established program requirements.Responsibilities include:Pulls, loads and moves merchandise according to pick/load sheets ad all documents specific to each type of merchandise.Uses equipment appropriate to each type of movement.Performs cycle counting, re-packaging of product and inventory consolidation duties.Assists in physical inventoriesPerforms daily cleaning assignments in the warehouse.Adheres to and executes the applicable Environmental Health & Safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for all employees according to Amcor, local, state, and federal requirement-regulations.Qualifications include:High School diploma or GED1 year of previous forklift operation (sit-down preferred)Previous warehouse experience in loading/unloading trucksAbility to do functional math (adding, subtracting, multiplying and division)Experience working with; inventories, pick sheets, shipping and/or receiving of productMust be dependable, reliable and mature enough to handle equipment safely and sensiblyAbility to read, write, understand and communicate in EnglishAbility to perform certain tasks such as lifting, working 12 hour rotating shifts, and operate in a non-climate-controlled facilityAdheres to safety policies and procedures in compliance with Amcor's guidelines including wearing PPE in designated areas.Visually inspects warehouse area for tripping hazards, equipment safeguards, employee's safety, and adherence to policies and maintains compliance with OSHA and company housekeeping rules.Employee is required to wear safety glasses at all time while operating forklift.Our Expectations:Our people are engaged and developing as part of a high-performing Amcor teamOur customers grow and prosper from Amcor's quality, service, and innovationOur investors benefit from Amcor's consistent growth and superior returnsThe environment is better off because of Amcor's leadership and productsAccelerate the possible by joining a winning Amcor team that's transforming the packaging industry and improving lives around the world.At Amcor, we unpack possibility through our innovative and responsible packaging to provide solutions that benefit our customers, our people and our planet.
